Just close the doors already. They release phones priced the same as their compeditiors yet offer no support or software updates. What a clownshow.

Alex 94, 07 Jan 2020Htc like Lg and Sony id dead in smartphone worldExactly, fan boys can defend them all they want, Sony mobile will die next after HTC, then maybe LG.

Where I live, I don't see anyone using phones from HTC, Sony and LG anymore, been like that for 3-4 years. I see their phones in stores, but not in the hand of people.

cheechchong, 07 Jan 2020Management team at HTC are old school type. They're arrogance, stubborn, hardheaded lol. They ... moreActually it's the "new trend" (Strip down features and offer as crippled phone as possible for as much money as possible) of zero common sense and pure insanity that caused them troubles.

If they kept the 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers (They basically gave up on the exact features that they were good at) and offered bigger batteries combined with decent prices (Decent prices are not old school, it's the other way around), they would have had solid business. Instead, they chosed to go insane. Well, they got what they deserved.

sounds bad but they did not release any flagships is why, not that they just had low sales, but that they didn't have any flagships and only one mid range

HardTimesComing is dead. HTC needs to sale off their VR portfolio while it still has some value, ASAP! (*hint-hint* Apple, Elon Musk, Amazon)

10 imacs sold and Apple probably earns more money than this.

That's what they get when not listening to their loyal customer's needs. They have the guts to sell their products at a premium price even if it offers a mediocre specs. Poor battery, no jack, silly "buttons" and oh, overpriced plasticky phone (u19e).

We thought HTC 10 puts them back into the game.
Well, they messed up again beginning with the U Ultra.

                        GOODBYE, HTC.
                        REST WELL IN PEACE.
                        RIP 2020.

Selling low specs phone expansive than mid rage phone >_> now many people look at specs and price first before buying and Youtube also only focus best performance phone...Iphone expensive but many know iphone has best chipset and super enpensive because 512gb and android phone also expensive...so sony more enpensive than iphone normal specs 6ram/128Rom sd855 only but price similiar to iphone with top chipset that why sony phone marketing getting drop...

Other vendors did offer to buy HTC 5-6 years ago. Would have gotten much more value for the company then. It's quite obvious this company was run by very incompetent people.
