Looks cool, but it has some problems, first it keeps changes the drawer sort order, second is a little laggy, when returning to the home screen, third it drains the battery way to fast, fourth if you write something and you happend to fill the hole row it dosen't always let you to put a pause soo you can move to the next row.

I have alway had a Sony phone since my T68i but my arc will be the last unless they bring out something amazing and get there updates rolling out on time.
i m waitin for ICS update for my phone xperia arc in Sri Lanka. Thanx SONY
Is it available or when will it be available in the Philippines?
Cant believe the have updated the ray befor the original arc Sony aint got a clue who owns a ray?? And look at the country's getting first?? Surely the UK should be first to get these updates not these third world country's.
starting with updates for 2011 xperia line up is a very good strategy from SONY. SE where notorously known for their untimely updates and lack of attention giving to its older models. consumers were dissatisfied with the company's policies. on the other hand SE were unlikely to change them ...; so the market shares were a gift from the consumers!

Look around the net before posting anything like that. ICS on 2011 line up is announced last november, your phone came out only in 2012. Think about it. Careful with your words. Read around the sony blog and you'll find out that Xperia S is already integrated with some of ICS features and updating it to ICS will not be much of a difference. Don't be one of those that buys/update stuff to make a statement. Update because there's a need for it.
On the sidenote:
Will eagerly wait for this.
i just checked the source link 2 and they've got this SI number thing. that's probabaly the reason why sony took longer in optimizing their devices
