Won't this lead to downfall of prices of other phones that have just been out eg Samsung S10,Galaxy fold among others
Davy Jones, 13 Jan 2020Even most of midrange phone looks better than this shitWorst looking iPhone ever too and the sales are taking off. May not be obvious but it's not necessarily about the looks, one of those moments when you realize apple knows what they are doing way better than most people would be willing to give them credit for.

How about LG flagships? They still have Quad DACs (despite still using a DAC as old as LG V20) so it's not just a phone. All Audiophiles are probably armed with LG G6/V20 and above to make full use of these expensive headphones.

Ditching wire connect direct to the phone means a lot of freedom. Who can spend 1200 euro on a mobile with 128 GB internal memory, have for sure extra 150 euro for the 512 GB variant. No problem.
Sponge, 13 Jan 2020Seriously? The S20+? If naming rumours are correct then this is the middle child of the S20 l... moreThey're jumping to 20 because numbers are getting ridiculously high. Having the number matching the calendar year makes it a lot easier for a casual user comparing models, especially in a few years, when the market is full of 13's, 14's, 40's, 60's and whatnot.
Anonymous, 13 Jan 2020If apple makes them ugly the others have to follow, apple says no jack? the others HAVE to tak... moreIsn't apple trying to get right of the other the way other manufactures already did?
Sponge, 13 Jan 2020Seriously? The S20+? If naming rumours are correct then this is the middle child of the S20 l... moreSamsung themselves explained that they named it 20 because we're in the new decade so in 2020, they'll release the S20. 2021, they'll release the S21 and so on. Seeing people in denial still believing S11 makes me cringe to the core.
Love the Community, 13 Jan 2020They're still audiophiles, yes. Better to buy things like that especially with headphone jack ... moreI don't think a person buying headphones made for high gain amplifiers, using them with a phone is an audiophile. A buyer of expensive equipment, yes. But, the sound experience is rather bland mixing it like that. The M50X is also a low impedance headphone, so it naturally works pretty well with a portable device.
BreakYourNeck, 13 Jan 2020 No. Its just that iOS needs less amount of RAM compared to Android. Yeah, Apple could have... moreMore RAM is still more RAM and you can't totally compensate for it with software optimization.
iOS uses less RAM but also has less functionally than Android and it's more than obvious especially with background services and tasks and with multitasking.
The iphone 11 Pro Max it's limited by it's 4GB right now and is quite visible. Just open a few apps and then open the camera app and take a few pictures, record a few clips and after that try to see if the apps you opened are still in memory, you will notice that most of them were kicked out of the RAM. This doesn't happen with the "unoptimized" 8GB Android phones.
2020 Android flagships are going to be able to record limitless true 960fps video, 4k 120fps video and 8k 30fps video. This is simply not possible on the iphone 11 Pro Max because of the ISP and RAM limitations.
Ugly name, horrible design and no doubt lacking a headphone jack.
All the hatred is amazing. I don't think this would win any design awards, but its nowhere as ugly as all those phones with the notches.
Seriously? The S20+?
If naming rumours are correct then this is the middle child of the S20 line?
There's to be an S20, S20+ and S20 Pro/Ultra according to the rumours.
So why not just stick with the traditional naming convention, S11, S11+ and S11 Pro?
If we see an Apple-style line-up it would not surprize me, however why does ever single android maker think curved displays is the o ly way to go for flagships? I would like to see a flat display retained on the S20, curved on the S20+ and Huawei-style curved on the Pro model..
This is all hypothetical of course.
AnonD-762416, 13 Jan 2020Tell that to my planar magnetic headphones. You can get really great sounding headphones with... moreThey're still audiophiles, yes. Better to buy things like that especially with headphone jack than Beats and Bose. I bought a studio ATH M50X for my Nintendo 3DS/Nokia 8 & RoG Phone 2. No Regrets.
XxAlixX, 13 Jan 2020I don`t know if someone agrees with this or no.
Ok, Samsung and other Brands, is it possibl... moreI think, you just "invented" the Galaxy A series. :)
Flagship models needs all the bells and whistles to be part of the category.
worst back panel design ever for a samsung S series. did the design department took a vacation or what?
Every time I see phones like this Samsung, it makes my Mate 30 Pro 5G's purchase even better.
I don`t know if someone agrees with this or no.
Ok, Samsung and other Brands, is it possible for you to make the single front camera and single or double back camera and name it like S20 ( S20 normal camera model ) and reduce the price?
Most of us actually don`t want those triple or quad cameras.
Just give us
1. single or dual camera
2. Better Battery
3. Fast charger + Headphone jack
4. Nice display
I mean ok don`t give us those high-end camera specs, so reduce the price and give us other all performance which S20 or other mobile phones have it. We like S20 display we like futures ok, But really we don`t need those 4 cameras lol which we gonna use it only a few times per month for just normal video calling or another purpose.
Reducing price definitely will bring more users.
Standard design by their Chinese counterpart. Samsung focus more and more on cost cutting designs starting with their M, S and Note series, now their S each. You’ll definitely loose your flagship customers in a huge manner if you continue this greediness and trend. (SMH)...
