Price includes VAT and private copying remuneration rights depending on memory capacity so yes it ends up expensive for 512
pajson89, 14 Jan 2020U must be joking ? hahahahhahahaWhat's so funny? The man is just spittin' facts. I don't like their exorbitant pricing structure but they sell a ton of iPhones and make a boatload of profit therefore they can charge whatever they want. If you can't afford it or don't want to pay for an iPhone then, like most people outside of the U.S., Android is your only option. At least try to get a smartphone that runs stock Android and not one that uses an iOS looking UI like most Chinese OEMs out there.
Really it doesn't worth !

This year the have the best chipset, the best camera, the best battery life and the best display. (even if you disagree you have to admit that they are pretty much in the top 3 for everything). Now add the typical apple support, 5 year lifespan, extremely high resale value and the fact that you can use the the best in class in ear headphones and the best smartwatch with them.
Apple develops their own software for the own hardware! No other company does this. So they can do whatever they want with the prices as long as consumers are still happy with their purchase... and they are!
Android flagships have the same price, they just drop in value in no time cos they can't pull an Apple on people.
ASUS ROG Phone 3, 14 Jan 2020Their prices are unrealistic with much more capable Android mobiles with 5G started hitting th... moreI don't use any Apple product, but the fact is an Android can't run iOS, so if someone is looking for this OS, then they don't have choice. When you have the monopoly, you just have to set the prices as high as the consumer are ready to pay considering the product and brand image, and that is exactly what they do with success so far. Why would they reduce the price tag if it sells well (i.e. be profitable, and far more than any other android)? Like, do you ask your boss to reduce your pay because some are paid $2/day in some part of the world?

Learning is good, but its always one step behind the learned. And thus profits as well.
Their prices are unrealistic with much more capable Android mobiles with 5G started hitting the market... Hope Apple learns another year of lesson though they may make more profits.....
