YUKI93, 15 Jan 20208th-gen Intel Core i7 and 16GB RAM for a Chrome OS laptop? No thanks, Google. Even with Google... moreI currently use Chrome OS & Linux (i7 3rd Gen) on 2 different devices. Total cost ~ $600.
However, I would prefer to have both OSes on 1 device. If I can get a Chrome OS device (i7 8th gen & 16GB RAM) for ~$650 ... then I will buy it.
Hope ot can play doom eternal 2020 on full details othervise i am not interested.
2020 and people still wonder why Chromebook can be Expensive. Let see about 2021.
I'd rather wait and observe the benches for the upcoming Ryzen 4000.
if i don't like Windows PC, I'd rather buying a Macbook Pro than this expensive chromebook, 2018 macbook pro retina it's still good enough with beautiful design, and more useful OS.
"Molecular display", eesh that's some meaningless marketing tripe right there, Apple would be proud.

8th-gen Intel Core i7 and 16GB RAM for a Chrome OS laptop? No thanks, Google. Even with Google Play Store and Linux Crostini support, Chrome OS is still a joke. I rather fresh install Linux OS in a Windows laptop rather than running Linux on Chrome OS.
