The LG V20 was the last flagship to offer an IR blaster, removable batteries, quad DACs, 7 aop mics, first with the double camera setup with wide angle and the first with fingerprint reader on back. I actually prefer moto/lenovo fingerprint on the side after I used it. LG V20 was one the last true flagships, now all the companies are trying to see what they can remove and still charge more each year, with progressively more intrusive surveillance software and marketing tracking. I still use my v20, but I run Nethunter on it now, we need more vanilla linux phones.

I have no idea who the idiot was that a few years ago convinced every major smartphone manufacturer to begin making phones thinner and neverendingly taller with each generation, but they should be be taken out to the woodshed.
Can someone please just make a big phone that is 85+mm wide (3.3inches) and maintain a 16:9 or 18:9 aspect ratio and still give it great cameras? The Mi Max 4 would have been near perfect but they stupidly cancelled it and now we are stuck in hell with all these annoying tall thin remote control shaped phone screens! Yuck!

Moonsaiii, 17 Jan 2020Yeah, I'm looking for 5 inch phone too. 6 inch phone won't fit on my hand, lol. Screen size doesn't matter anymore. it's all about the width. A 79mm phone can't fit in my hand but a 74mm can. A 5.9" 19.5:9 screen has the same width as a 5" 16:9.

Best phone for me is mi mix ultimate. After 3 years it's still the best I can get. Mate 20x is too large for my pockets with 18:9 but same screen width.
I prefer 6.4" with 16:9 than 7" with 18:9.
20:9 is nonsense unless you need a TV remote control :)

Narrower screens are great for holding but terrible for typing. I have the s9. I make way to many mistakes when typing with my fat fingers. I get the a narrower aspect ratio on larger phone but it's frustrating on a smaller screen. Good riddance on the curved screen.

Really disappointed there's no S20e as I'd have gotten one... moreYou have to remember,ppl require bigger phones for different reasons,movies on the go,eye site,bigger the better,in my case ive gone from 5inch to 5inch 5 to 5inch 7 and now 6.18inch screen,my movies look great,and great on the eyes,but that's a personal thing,so everyones needs are different my friend !
