Anonymous, 16 Jan 2020unfortunately the mobile phone carriers are running a huge scheme keeping good low end and mid... moreYou can import cheap phones, but chances are that they don't support US carrier bands - i.e. the phone won't even connect to the cell tower, or support just a single band, which results in very bad reception. China, Russia, Europe, India, etc. use mostly the same bands so they can easily import cheap phones, but you can't do the same in the US.

Not a lot of options. But tech savy folks know where to go look for these phones

I really don't get why Samsung doesn't enter the US midrange market aggressively. Isn't that the perfect market for Samsung? It's like the european midrange market without any chinese phones (Huawei, Xiaomi, Realme etc.) who are entering europe
