I have P30 Pro, before that P20 Pro and I'm sick with this zoom getting bigger and bigger, I need 2x (50mm) for portraits only... This 3x and 5x are very dark lenses and they are useless in everyday life except for shooting still objects like buildings and mountains.

The IMX586 a 1/2" sensor as a 5X optical zoom,i wonder just how big it would be

OOoooo fuuu. Well it doesn't matter. Waiting for the 10x optical zoom from Huawei, Xiaomi, BBK, etc. Seems that also as with the display controllers that need to slow the Samsung refresh displays at native max resolution, now they only can achieve 5x optical zoom when competitors already reached and had it a whole year ago.

They are losing the front wave fo innovation and design.
