Berserker, 19 Jan 2020Yeah, those days. I've replaced my mate 9 for mate 20.
And yet im still missing my mate 9.
T... moreOh yes, the Mate 9 was really great. That was, when a Mate was still a Mate, before they started to shrink the width more and more, with Mate 10 and Mate 20...
So I switched to a Honor Note 8, which I could get really cheap. Camera wasn't quite as good as Mate 9 or even 10, but it's truly a giant in a land of more and more liliputans! 90mm width, something achieved by no other phone!
I held on to it until I had to switch, because the usb port was broken, so it wouldn't charge anymore. As it's a China-only device, I would have to send it in, for who knows how long.
I wanted to go for a Mate 20X, but it was horribly overpriced wherever I looked... far more than Mate 20 Pro still. So eventually, I settled for a Mate 20 - didn't want the Pro: still less width than non-Pro, big fat notch, and curved edges. No thanks!
Still hoping for a Mate 30X, without notch, and without rounded corners. No bloated Google spyware would be a great bonus. Come on, Huawei!
EskeRahn, 20 Jan 2020I wish there were... The problem is that even 68 is beyond reach for the average thumb. See ot... moreI would agree. I have huge hands and I still had minor trouble using S10 non plus with right hand itself.
This is by contrast even bigger...
Anonymous, 18 Jan 2020Samsung and LG have already launched 8k TV Agreed, but they're mighty expensive for now & 8k computer monitors are even rare.
That's the reason I used "hardly any" instead of "any". Yes, 8k screens exist but 'few' at best..
Its the initial novelty period going on, whereby even if its cheap in manufacturing, it will sell for 4x its deserved price! Sad but true.
Remember, the time when 4k TV's used to cost above $1500? 4k by itself is just a resolution, not a measure of quality, but it was rare novelty item back then. 8k is in that "novelty" period right now.
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2020more than 150cm is a size for everyone ?? really ? That is bigger than s10 , than s7 edge . No... moreCouldnt say it better.
Samsung should stop increasing the size of the screens and start giving some love to the small phone lovers. And no, an experimental flip phone is not the answer.
EskeRahn, 21 Jan 2020Direct quote is something you never said? You are wasting my time, i'll end this here and leav... more Shocking... you choose to continue playing the side tracking game. Even take it another level.
Clearly I said direct quote. Clearly to anyone with an average intellect what I was referring when I said " something o never said" was in reference to you still trying to put words in my mouth. Which is the reason we are searching for a "direct quote".

So try again. Or you know. You could actually grow up, admit your mistake, and stop side tracking.
Or continue this off topic game and fail again at trying to provide an example of something I never said.

Show me one point where are said people are not effected by it? Or where I didn't specifically state what my point was....which in fact not only didn't say they are not effected...but used how they are effected to back up.
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2020There was no myth in what I said. It was fact. That analogy is not correct.
The differences ... moreYou do know repeating yourself does not make the point more valid, right?
How can you claim that a majority is not affected, when the average thumbs can't reach?
NotCory, 18 Jan 2020256GB as base storage, please!Man even 64GB wil be more than enough for 90% of buyers.
Ugly POS, taaaaallllllll and long
Bring back the perfect 16.9
EskeRahn, 20 Jan 2020I was trying to replace myths with facts, sorry if that displeases you. There was no myth in what I said. It was fact. That analogy is not correct.
The differences of how it effects the majority are too different despite a similar base.
Many more people would notice the part of the wall that is left uncovered. Most people wouldn't even notice the difference between 66 and 70mm right off hand. Especially more so without something to compare it to directly. And if it's too large then either way is going to be a reach and struggle for them.
But instead you try to defend it as a perfectly comparable analogy when it effects people completely different. It was a decent attempt. But instead of understanding that and moving on you not only were trying to cling to it...but then even assumed you needed to teach me something I'm aware of off topic to keep yourself right. Off topic because the point was your improper use of an analogy. Not what people can hold which I'm clearly aware of there being a limit. And it being different for everyone. I didn't need you to think you need to further explain that in detail because of another issue.
Giii, 20 Jan 2020There is a size for everyone. Go for the S20 5G if you want a smaller onemore than 150cm is a size for everyone ?? really ? That is bigger than s10 , than s7 edge . No thanks s10e is perfect . I don t know what is wrong with everyone , not all of us whant big screen. 5.8 is more than big enough
EskeRahn, 20 Jan 2020...Of course this would change if the mobile phone OSs got totally new guidelines where there ... moreOne handed mode available on several devices. Plus there are plenty of apps on playstore like quick ball, etc which give you one handed functionality on Android.
No such apps available on iOS since it is functionally challenged Stone Age OS.

The two hugest ones are almost the same width, had they shrunken the S20+ and S20- with about 4% they would have had a more even spread 76, 71 and 65mm :)

Ugly back. But not uglier than the one of the iPhone. They could of done better with the design.
