What I have problem with is the noise. I got original PS4 which is noisy as hell, and slim one which is better. Pro isn't exactly quite either.

That said, having physical copy as option AND cheaper digital games makes this betetr than stadia

Well i really dont think so Stadia will surpass Xbox, Playstation, Vii or a real PC.

Xbox had a more lenient 24hr offline window, when it launched, and the critics savaged it! Surely I would have heard about it if no offline ability at all were the case.

You also have to be connected to play those games, otherwise, you are also screwed. If you don't have internet connection, you cannot log in to your PSN account, and therefore cannot play games you payed for.

This is corroborated by your following passage "my friends sold there PlayStations and got Stadia" -- your friends with Xboxes never had that noise problem hence kept their consoles.

Plus, Microsoft's Game Pass really brings something new to the table, a NetFlix of videogames. Your real problem is lack of experience outside PlayStation.

With the added requirement of persistent internet connection as opposed to the "go online every few days to play offline" ( a notch lower in dumb-ness) DRM of Steam and others.

Problem is everyones broadband has different latencies. And the change from fibre to copper. As well creates lag. I think as concept its sound amazing and would buy tomoz. So on a 5G connection 4k gaming would be amazing. No lag.

BT also happens to be one of the worst internet providers in the UK.
