YUKI93, 21 Jan 2020I can understand the 460 as a direct replacement for the 450, but what is the point of 662 and... moreActually the 730g costs more so a phone with 730g will cost 16k-18k and if their is a good build qulaity then it will have a price of 17k-19k.So they introduced 720g and it will replace sd675 and it will come in redmi note 9 pro(JUST A GUESS).So a 8nm processor in mid range phone is enough.

On the other hand,sd 660 is better than sd 665 and 662, both in cpu and gpu, buth is built in 14 nm and support max 48mp.

Since according to you SD 662 is not worse than SD 665, is it better? No two SoCs of different model are the same. SD 665 is better than SD 662, even though marginally. Better is better even if by 1 point!

Software support and optimization mattered the most. ... moreMost people neither knows nor cares about Gcam, and most people aren't flashaholics like you. Nokia 5.1 plus got Android pie before a lot of phones with SD chipset, and would get Android 10 very soon so your story about software update is bullocks! They're not optimized? MTK P70 beats SD 660, and SD 730G is now match for MTK G90T. Pease when you talked performance and optimization, what did you mean, because if it performs well, it's well optimized!

another snapdragon 660 based cpu (we have the 665) slower than the original 660(2GHz big cores instead of 2.21GHz in the same core technology)? snap 662 seem promising!

Alex 94, 21 Jan 2020U are totally wrong. I had mtk x20 in redmi note 4 almost 4 years and never had some problems.... morePerformance only mattered 1/4 at a time. Software support and optimization mattered the most. If Mediatek made their codes and kernels open source, they'll be XDA friendly and we'll see a lot of GCams for example with Mediatek Helio and Dimensity compatibility.

I had mtk x20 in redmi note 4 almost 4 years and never had some problems. Helio g90t outperform 730g in every aspect. Qualcomm in next 2-3 years will be in big problems, especially in Asia region.
