Nowadays I realize, that... moreAgree on this one. 1000+€ for new mobile phone is just stupid considering after 2 years same phone will be totally forgotten especially if that phone is Samsung.
Second thing- for 5G it's not enough to have 5G capable phone. Infrastructure is not near done yet and all those 5G phones will be on a 4G most of the time so paying for something that will be normal on phones for 2 or 3 years when infrastructure advances is plain stupid.

And then you give as an example Apple, which is the most savage company in human history in taking money from their customers :)))
At least give as an example Xiaomi or I don't know One Plus or Realme, which are having low prices on their phones.
And don't give me that thing about software updates or other useless things. I am pretty sure that average consumer will not care if their phone receives any updates in 3 years, if that phone is working normally.
I had an iphone 8 plus. The most useless piece of hardware I had in my lifetime, for the price I paid for. And I am 35 years old.

[deleted post]What exactly do you need 5G for on a mobile phone? The biggest advantage of 5G is latency, speed is a secondary thing. And both cannot be utilized on a mobile phone due to hardware and software limitations. The 5G for mobile is a gimmick, not evolution. Not to mention the coverage issues - don't fool yourself - you will be using the 4g network for most of the time.

Nowadays I realize, that spending money on a new flagship phone each 1-2 years is even worst.
With the very good options in the mid-range and even low-end category, you have to be a super tech guy or you have to be making money with your phone, to justify such a purchase.

You're a tech junkie to a particular (shp) den That's it.. Yeah that's obviously to a that particular logo.. Using many brands doesn't mean you not bias.. We've seen before that you are very obedient to that bite Apple logo. Thinking latest iPhones better in most cases than previous generation Samsung's device is totally silly! Yeah I have to admit, The 11 series is better in few areas ie. 4k video recording stabilization, better natural colour pictures, sometime better portrait photography and lastly you Apple fans always bark for OS updates :/ yeah you won in these areas.. XD.. Remember the Note 10 plus is a device of previous generation compared to iPhone 11 series but still is better at most thing.. Don't cry when the s20 will come

So my fears have been confirmed that they want iPhone Max money for their phones.
I guess I'll be having to wait and make do with my trusty old S8+ for a while longer, until the price drops anyway.
