Not even for HMD (not their phones nor the ODM devices they sell under Nokia name)

It says G lens for 26mm ... No mention ofmother, which means it is a random supplier.

" Neither Leica or Huawei manufacture the lenses. Instead, a third-party manufacturer in Asia mass-produces the lenses to the specifications agreed upon by Leica and Huawei. It's not surprising that Leica doesn't produce the lenses, as its campus just isn't built for mass production of smartphone components."

Pixel does 4K30. 1080p30 was tested.
Xperia 5 does 4K24p HDR/30p HDR ... 1080p30 was tested.
Why only change for Apple?
Anonymous, 23 Jan 2020Same way DxOMark doesn't test for 960fps slow motion recording since iPhone can't do it. The problem is the fact Dxomark says they test with default settings.
But they changed for iphone, only for iphone ...
If they used 4K60 of iphone instead of FHD30 (set as default) , they should have tested Pixel 4 at 4K30 and Xperia 5 at 4K30 HDR. But no...
Of course both would have higher video score than iphone. Something looks like they dont want to see.
Software and in phone processing capabilities is proving to be much much more beneficial than hardware when it comes to cameras nowadays.
FarFan, 23 Jan 2020And compare this to fresh sony xperia 5 scoreHonestly Sony make amazing lenses for everbody but there own phones score poorly in tests. Shame they are good hardware. Maybe if they put decent lenses on like Leica. They will get good rwviews
To be honest iphone are ok but not ground breaking camera system. Very good stable 4k video. But all substandard compared to Galaxy S20. With 8k video and the amazing 108mpx camera system.
FarFan, 23 Jan 2020And compare this to fresh sony xperia 5 scoreShouldn't even be compared.
Xperia 5 is depending solely on its hardware, hence the low scores (as it attempts to deliver images as close to a proper digital camera as possible).
Once Sony hops into computational photography and do it as greatly as Google and Apple, then it's definitely a game-over for everybody.

So what? Does anybody care about all the DXO numbers anymore? The whole reason for the company's existence is becoming obsolete.
Now its all about choices and not numbers anymore. Every phone has its class and they all give almost the same results as others from that class. Bye Bye DXO

Perhaps DxOMark is testing the maximum video capability of the phone, and the truest it can achieve without AI-assisted boosting. For instance, the iPhone will perform better video capture in low light at low frame rates (30 and below). It can't do that at 4K60.
