It seems that Exynos and SD versions will perform equally in normal usage. Once used for gaming, the Exynos's weaknesses will show up. Software optimisation also contributes to these.

On its major upside, the software is always better optimised for it, as Samsung tends to do the work in it instead of the snapdragon.

Snapdragon leads the way in multicore performance and GPU.
For flagship chipsets,
Single core performance : Exynos > Kirin > Snapdragon.
Multi core performance : Kirin > Snapdragon > Exynos.
GPU : Snapdragon > Snapdragon > Kirin ~ Exynos.

I agree with that guy. its a definite badly optimized processor compared to the compitetors. nobody expects this when they want to pay such premium.

Everybody here knows the annoying fragmentation of processor distribution, and those that don't won't care. It's rubbish, and I wish it wasn't so.

Exynos SoC was one of the reason I sold my Samsung phone alongside battery issues, but I was surprised the S20 actually ships with Snapdragon SoC in most markets.

I agree with the exynos rant in the comments. it's going to cripple the s20 variants. It's so bad that Samsung themselves had to fire the entire custom core team.
