oof, 29 Apr 2020at least android batteries last more than 5 hours of use, unlike iPhonesif you check battery tests of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, you will see that it defeats a lot of android phones, even the Note 10+, and even S20 Ultra on 120 Hz, obviously not 60Hz though, but now with Apple's comeback on battery life, you can't really say much on it now. Obviously older iPhones had trash battery life

heck he can't even give an example on what important multitasking he does, it is so important that it needs a divided attention on multitasking for him to do it.

SD855 drop performance when hot also the A13, when both units where room temp and performed the test, the A13 just crush the SD855 or the SD855+, when throttling still the A13 crush the SD855.... LOL

Snapdragon was the best followed by Apple, followed by Exynos and Kirin.

Only gaming phones with added cooling system didn't throttle (most of them had SD 855)
Apple without any cooling is way behind Snapdragon without cooling.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 28 Jan 2020You still don't understand... That is running a very light thread... When a game or something ... moreDo you mean throttling?

Like, something that all processors that are thermally constrained do?
Yeah, even the 865 will throttle. It's inevitable in the long run, but the manufacturer can decide how fast it can enter in that state depending on a lot of factors.
That's the reason why the S10 throttles much faster than the one plus 7, even when both use the same SoC.

In the case of Apple (and the vast majority of OEM tbh) the A13 enter throttling state much faster to avoid the waste of energy (remember that the energy doesn't increase linearly with frequency) and overheating (something that can be really noticeable and uncomfortable for the user).

It's not the processor itself, but the envelope that limits it.
In order to OBJECTIVELY see which one has a "worse sustained state" we would need to have a device with the exact same characteristics and just switch SoCs to take the numbers. We can't do that.

The iPhone uses modified ARM cores and a custom GPU, the issue here is that Apple uses the best node on the market making their phones pure power houses! Now the question is why is the Apple ARM cores so fast? Easy its MUCH BIGGER! What is making it bigger? Well my guess is cache, bunch of cache for the CPU & GPU making the phone not need as much RAM as a equal Android not to mention games, remember how Fornite need 4GB on Android while only 3 on iOS? Well simple the cache stores extra graphics and data so they could free up a entire GB of RAM!!! O_O

Even with 2 screens + keyboard it's easy, & if you find that difficult then switch to Floating Keyboard mode.
