Such a great effort done by honour off xiomi in a shape of note 8 pro
I have a Mi 8 and Redmi note 8 pro and the quality is approximately the same. In 64mp note 8 pro is really better.
DX o'mark is mediocre

Don't'em anyone who have come in contact with this phone will have to say at its price segment that this device is awesome in all departments, and please forks stop confusing yourself with paper writings, waiting for note 9 to be released lol
Its one of the best budget phone at this price range, I m using it from 2month and camera is awsome
iPhone 7 + got 87 too, but the price...

Still its an excellent phone for excellent price.
Unmathced by others.

Also Xiaomi paid nothing I assure you, their customers don't care about DXOMARK or anything like it, talk to any of them and they will tell you how much less they paid compared to the other brand, best bang for the buck, incredible value and such, keep asking they will tell you LCD is best and the camera is better than same price camera of other brands. ads are not a problem MIUI is just fine...

For istance:
Relame x2 pro and xioami note 8 pro have same gw1 sensor, yet photos and videos are leaps ahead on realme becouse of SD855 chipset.
xiaomi phones have good hardware for the price but sadly the software are not always spot on. Seen a couple of xiaomi phones flashed with Pixel cam software that perform way better than the stock
Xiaomi paid DxOMark to delay the review... The Note 8 Pro sales are virtually non-existent at this point, so it does basically no harm to Xiaomi, and everyone knows the Note 8 Pro's camera is bad so they can't convince anyone.
Or someone really believes that it's just a funny "COINCIDENCE" that if Xiaomi phone gets high score, the review is out same month the phone gets released (Mi CC9 Pro = phone out in November, review out in SAME MONTH) and when it gets bad score, the review is out several months later when sales die out (Note 8 Pro = released in September, review out almost HALF YEAR LATER)?
Well for those who complaining. its damn 170$ phone!! and this score not even categorized as bad score. Are other under 200$ phone have much better DxOmark Score? And how many is it? U cant have everything on
The macro cam and ultrawide made the score low. But you can't ask for more with its price range. You can use GCam though
The Samsung sensors are garbage. GSM Arena's own tests showed how bad the Redmi Note 8 Pro (Samsung ISOCELL GM1) camera is compared to the K30 (Sony IMX 686). Drag the box over Abraham Lincoln on the $5 bill and see how much more detail the Sony IMX 686 offers compared to the Samsung ISOCELL GM1:

Xiaomi's recent Redmi Note phones have been very disappointing and they need to up their game. If the Redmi Note 9 Pro doesn't have a Sony IMX 686 and a Snapdragon processor then I'm buying a Realme.
Anonymous, 28 Jan 2020Xiaomi fans are going to be pissed.... DXO conspiracy theories incoming. No, this is low end - mid phone (with low price tag), also one of the best in design, battery life, screen, and camera is not bad, for 170$ you can't ask more, even from Xiaomi (Redmi) line up, at least, it have all google services, and play store, so no prob there. Its funny how low end - or low mid phone, have same score as flagship from 2018? (LG V30).
