Fayth, 29 Jan 2020why? the comment section is the best part of this site... especially on Apple or Sony article... moreI've been here for less than 4 years and these comments are the reason why I am named Love the Community. I really love them for how informative, asinine, useless, open or close minded, one-sided, and two-sided they are.

You said it yourself, wallets are folded to fit in pockets. This phone is folded to make it smaller, to make it easier to store and carry around. You know so you can fit it in your pocket. Stop being F***ish.

The thing you fold is the thing you keep tight and protected. The screen.
EskeRahn, 29 Jan 2020It for sure should be called L not Z, as it does not even open.
The whole point of a clamsh... morewith the name Z, I thought it would be tri-fold

You are putting your opinion on everyone else's opinion. You really can't seem to notice that some people may like otherwise, Some people might like the thing that it's smaller and fit well in their pocket.
Now just answer 1 question.
Weren't the folding phones popular in the past ? (even though these weren't as durable as conventional phones)
Razr much better lookinf
Daany, 29 Jan 2020What's the point of the fold is my point and should be your question too. The fold adds no fun... moreso where's your comments about the razor flip phone ? when Samsung does it , its a problem... boy bye Next
AnonD-754814, 29 Jan 2020What's your point ?What's the point of the fold is my point and should be your question too. The fold adds no functionality, only makes the phone thicker when folded. It adds one more step(Flip up, like in 1920s) to anything that needs to be done.
You unfold the phone...
To pick a call(Even check who is calling)
Read a msg
Check notifications
Take selfies
Take regular photos
May be to even check time and date and weather(lol)
The flip is pointless
Why is everyone commenting something about 90 degree angle ? What's with it ?

Looks sort of ugly, especially compared to the Razr. It's a totally new phone - put some design effort into it! This just looks like a big S10e you can fold in half.
AnonD-762416, 29 Jan 2020Why do you fold your wallet? It's still a wallet when it's unfolded.Don't be f**lish for the sake of argument. Wallets are folded to fit in pockets and hold contents tighter. Plus both sizes are regular in case of wallets.
The phone doesn't even have an outside screen.
Stop being f**lish pls. Besides phones and wallets are not comparable in anyway. Make sensible comparison next time... Damn
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2020To the people who commented below, you can set the phone to stay at 70-110 degrees open. Below... moreAh thanks! That makes more sense! So just a bad translation/explanation in the article.
Though it would have been better with that shifted a bit to say 100-140, as you are very unlikely to use a clamshell open at just 90 let alone 70 degrees
