I live in China too, ale 5G is almost everywhere in my city. But as a European, i must say i dont buy chinese phones and i strongly encourage you all to stop supporting china with your money. They need to grow up, respect human rights and democracy. Before that, i dont believe them, probably all Huawei phones have spying software connected to chinese military.

Shawn, 29 Jan 2020I take it you have an Apple then? What's your point? According to news iPhone will have 5G this year, i just hope there will be different models with same hardware without 5G, because i won't pay extra for 5G. I don't see any use for it in many years. When 5G have real benefits we live in time where 5G doesn't add any extra cost in hardware or data plan.

2020 Chinese smartphone market will bounce back by $300-$500 5G phone.
2021 Chinese smartphone market will go up again by $150-250 5G phone.
Right now, the enthusiasm about 5G in China is very high.

They want to buy something that were advance...
And 5G in China is different than western world, the internet price is CHEAPER with 5G.

It won't and if it will it won't be because of 5G, just the fact that you are buying phone which have 5G built in, there's very few who buy 5G phone because of the 5G.
It will take atleast 4 years before there's real point to have 5G on a phone.

I wish Huawei was the only thing growing in China. As of late, Coronavirus seems to be growing & spreading at a rapid pace. Been hearing some concerning news as of late. Let's hope it all ends soon.
