too expensive for the sake
Of nostalgia. I almost made
A bad investment, but luckily
Came to my senses and
CANCELLED the order which amounted to over
3000 dollars for two of
Them. Got suckered by the
Hype and it could have cost
Me in more ways than one.
I could just as soon have
Brought the Galaxy Fold.
Samsung should have
Stayed with the 850.00
Rumor, wait til the S20s
Come out and you are out
Of your league, this phone
Is just a modified S10e!!

Not as beautiful as the razr (from the render). Okay samsung flip (or z) might have better specs (chipset) but who will use is for heavy use, gaming, etc, since the display is fragile

Samsung will not start a foldable phone trend if they sell it at high price.

I bet a similar result would be in the case of any new flagship.

I'd love to get the phone as I'm a clamshell lover, gone through 20 of them over the years.
I'd never even spend 700+ pounds or even euros on one tho - never.

sigh, 02 Feb 2020I'm not rich person by any means, but the polls just show how poor and how these poor pollers ... more"Cannot think of anything else but their financial situation" you're literally mad at people for not wanting to burn their money away. Why buy a device that will likely be half the price within 18-24 months. You're either insane or have way too much money to burn if you buy this device new at 1400. Like being mad at people for not buying new cars (which by the way is a very poor financial decision). Most successful rich persons make wise financial decisions. Sorry for wanting to continue being wealthy by making the correct economical choices.

sanshiro, 02 Feb 2020Let's face it. GSM arena users are "dreamers" and not actual rich guys. The rich don't really ... moreBecause the actual rich guys aren't tech geeks, simple as that. You tell them that the phone has a superfast chipset and improved camera software algorithm, they wouldn't bother. You tell them that the phone has a three-carat diamond finish, they'd go, "Really? I gotta buy one". Simple common sense right there.

I'm not rich person by any means, but the polls just show how poor and how these poor pollers cannot think of anything but their financial situation. 1400 compared to 2000+ when you are talking about relatively new technology is already a great price drop. It's sad how most people here don't have the money, they also don't have the brains.

Let's face it. GSM arena users are "dreamers" and not actual rich guys. The rich don't really visit here to know or to get informed about mobiles. They just buy.

The rich and famous of Hollywood don't seem to bother with the "notch". They all have it.

Wonder which people want to spend a 1500+ bucks on a not a top end flagship just a very powerfull midranger with some innovations and UTG which will be a very fragille version of screen a bit better than fld had but far worse than GG6. .

No, prices for new tech only drop if they get picked up for mass selling, otherwise they stay at low level production numbers, which cost more to produce, so end price is high.. Look at the price of medical grade monitors, still ridiculously high, even more so compared to the drop in prices for "normal" high grade monitors etc, caused by low sales in specialised market..
