First step to kill your company: sell lower quality products for the same amount or even more expensive than your rivals with better quality products (Samsung).
Second step: remove 50% of your product and subsequently its value, keep the same price or charge even more.

1st) what did Micros... moreDevs did not want to make versions of their apps for a 3rd OS.
Google did not want their apps for Windows.
Blackberry OS, Windows Mobile, Sailfish, Ubuntu phone etc ...
None of them could make any success.

1st) what did Microsoft try?? Running a new OS with no political pressure from the entire United States of America? Banning so many different parts etc was Microsoft a top 2 global smartphone player??
2nd)
app developers will develop for 40 million different major OS if the pay off is there they want money more than anything
3rd) the implications of "might be successful in China alone but probably not in the rest of the world"
China only is 1.5 billion strong with other companies like Xiaomi bbk etc
This is nothing like Samsung or Microsoft nothing like it not even close

I have a Mate 30 Pro 5G with Google apps and everything works perfectly, this phone is a true masterpiece and the best Android phone made it ever.

Well, Microsoft tried it and it didn't work. Sony said, app developers don't want to develop for more than 2 major app stores. And those are the Play Store from Google and the App store from iOS. They might be successful in China, but probably not in the rest of the world.

Mhhhm, interesting choice by Huawei. Although I do wonder if this is a "Hardline" approach they are taking that doesn't actually mean much. But if they are serious, then this will be a very interesting development for the mobile OS business for sure.

Love Android but sometimes they don't care about us the consumers so i encourage Huawei to develop their software.
