Anonymous, 02 Feb 2020huawei is banned in US. Go troll elsewhere sireThere are many phones that are not banned and are not sold under contract in America. That is why you have the option to buy them off contract. When I purchased the 1st generation Mi Mix it was not sold in America and I purchased it outright off contract. No one had a Huawei before it was banned. Get a clue before you write something.
Dan, 01 Feb 2020Yup, BBK is doing great, and their phones aren't exactly cheap.Realme is cheap. :)

They also work with European competitors to replace maps and other Google features which is a nice thing for European software companies! :)
Anonymous, 31 Jan 2020Xiaomi will overtake them all. Wait and see.Xiaomi has even less innovation and lower build quality than Huawei (not to say Apple, etc.).

CBETKATA, 31 Jan 2020Second place actually goes to BBK Electronics, the owner of Vivo, Oppo, Realme and OnePlus Yup, BBK is doing great, and their phones aren't exactly cheap.
So as i suspected overwhelming majority of the iPhones sold are non Pro & Max models! Without 5G it is hideous to heavily invest when you have iPhone 11 which has the reasonable specs but attractive price range in $600-$750! Yes, you can get much better for the same in the Android world but for those iOS die-hards, Apple itself has presented value proposition in the form of iPhone 11, only fools could overlook!
Does this include the 400,000 sales from the Mate X? Oh no, wait. We are already upon February so that would be 600,000 sales? 650,000? Ahhhhh let's just make it 700,000. Why not. And still I have yet to see anyone with a Huawei on the train in NYC. This is a prime example of patriotism and a lineup featuring more affordable phones. Nothing more. Give me the head to head of flagship sales. Then we will know who stands where.
Huawei just needs it's own OS to creat its own ecosystem like Apple. Depending on Google is proving to be a burden.

Huawei : 1, haters : 0. Huawei is steadying overtaking exploding samsung battery companies. No one expect Huawei to overtake Apple let alone increase in annual sales

Apple as usual declining on number of units sold.
... more"Huawei shipped more phones inspite of ban."
They did, but even when all the current Huawei phones support Google they had very bad last Q4. Se people already changed their thoughts about Huawei when there wasn't Any real problem with them. From that you can predict how bad this year going to be when people in EU stop buying Huawei phones.
My prediction is that Huawei after this year is third or fourth in the market with under 200m sales if they can't turn this ban.
Anonymous, 31 Jan 2020I got to learn lot new information about having Huawei phones without Google. Based on what i ... moreYes, such apps are crucial for daily use. Some games also require GMS these days. Unfortunately Huawei phones are neither daily drivers nor gaming handsets, despite good specs in some of their models. It can also be said that Huawei Pay (not sure what they call it, but it's NFC, look at JerryRigEverything's vid about the Mate 30 Pro) is useless outside of China. I do not have high hopes for this brand, but if the situation can be contained, then I might consider buying one.
