CompactPhones5ever, 02 Feb 2020WHY?! Just WHY do all these rugged phones need to be such massive bricks. Do all these Ulefone... moreYou should do wrist rotation exercises or bicep curls with the lanyard attached, keep yourself strong! But be careful watching those late night you tube videos in bed, you'll get free nose job lol.

Personally being in the mountains, constantly traveling, and being pretty clumsy.. having a phone as durable and pretty smooth is enough for me! And the bigger the better ;)

I actually have one of these phones, along with the OnePlus 7t and a Pixel 3a. I may be the only one commenting that actually does have the phone. In short, it is great. It does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Works with CDMA and GSM here in the US which makes it one of the few that do. When you review it, remember it is $500, not $1000 or $1100, so don't be wishing for stuff that they have, that would be an unbalanced review. It works first time, everytime, beautifully! Actually. you might wish that the $1100 phones were as rugged and had a 5500 mah battery!!

Be aware that you'll be stuck with the Android the phone ships with. Ulefone promises upgrades for Power, Power 2, Armor 5, but never delivered them.

I'm using Armor 5 for a year and a half now and the rubber started pealing on the top and the bottom of the screen.

WHY?! Just WHY do all these rugged phones need to be such massive bricks. Do all these Ulefones and Doogees think that people who buy rugged phones to construction sites and outdoor spots really need a massive 6+" screen for games? Really f*cking dumb, I'd actually like to buy a rugged phone for when I work outside, but I'd never buy almost 17cm tall phone simply because it'd be a pain to carry around.

It bothers me even more this time around because this phone actually looks quite decent, all it needs is a 5" screen instead so you can actually fit it in your pocket.

They are made for working people who need it to be rugged and well be with middle cllass hardware just so everything they need work ok. And SD855 up you need only for gaming.

There is quite a market for these sort of phones. And AGM looks really good. German designed. Manufactured in China. And sport SD 845 processors. Which is more than needed for an excel spread sheet or word document, or images etc. Can have a few gaming sessions too.
