And no, I do not think that 256gb is unnecessary, nor do I think 5G is unnecessary; just not refined enough yet. And no, I cherry picked my phone in accordance to high end specs. We are talking about 120hz displays on phones here not PCs.
Huge difference between Games on PC vs games on smartphones.
Mobile gaming(usually touch screen) vs PC gaming (keyboard, mouse, joystick)
Mobile games different from PC games.
I guess iIneed to break it down to you like a kid,
If you haven't used a 120hz display (phone) or played a game on it (phone), you don't know the difference.

This is just like with 4K 120Hz OLED TV's. You can't even run games at that refresh rate and resolution with a 2080 TI on PC. For now it's all designed for marketing and justifying an even higher price tag. Keep in mind I'm talking about phones which get atleast some OS updates like Samsung. Asus is on LG levels with updates.

It's already hard to find good looking games at 60fps on phones (except those with simplistic, modern graphics obviously, even an S3 could run them at 120fps), I don't want to see how horrible 120fps phone gaming will be...
But then you say that looks don't matter and 120Hz is there for those who want it. Fair enough. But then it's not really an improvement if it's just to make more compromises

OLED burn-in is real and when gaming you have static images as well, a mini map for example. It is bound to burn in sooner or later if you are careless.
If you think about how OLED displays work and how they are designed, you can conclute that a higher refresh rate will decrease the life span of the organic LED's, hence the name OLED. On LCD that's not a problem but apparently you don't get my point...
GAMIRSFM, 03 Feb 2020But then why you say innovation of phones stopped? I know we have the same glass sandwich, so ... moreLook, foldables are a new form factor. You can't directly compare them. Nobody looks at a phone and a tablet the same way, or a phone with a PC, or a phone with a console (either portable or stationary), or a phone with a flip phone. You can argue that they're similar, like you can argue that a very powerful PC is like a server. But they're really not made for the same purpose.
And really you can buy a foldable but they're still flawed and not durable enough. They're strictly in the Proof Of Concept realm or Prototype. You can just buy it. I mean, tech is flooded with half-baked products. It's nothing new.

You said: "Foldables are still a niche and more proof of concept than anything else."
But then how we are getting foldables phones in the market already?
I can understand if you said under cameras phones are proof of concept but no for Foldables, they are already here to stay.
