A true professional wouldn't bother with a smartphone for photography or cinematography.

V40 uses different focal lengths, then you have a "3D" image like google street view.

TooFatTooFurious, 03 Feb 2020I'm waiting for the day when AI can combine the output from all cameras to obtain one image wi... moreActually that can be done by a byer sensor in a easier way. I don't think there is any SoC which has half of the power what's needed to capture and merge video from multiple sensor at the same time(assuming you are talking about merging videos from lenses with same focal length, not the wide-ultrawide-telephoto together as I dont know how that will work).

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2020New iPhones already does great stuff with AI. When you take photo and you didn't do well with ... moreYour points went over my head.
If i make a story on you points the story is like this :

You broker handled you 980,000$ by selling your old house. Then you said regretfully to your broker that I wish the amount was a complete figure like 1 million.
Then your broker said " Here is your 20,000$, now you have 1 million and I didn't give it from my share. This money from your part".
Now should the person be happy that the broker gave him extra money or be sad that the broker was stealing from him.
{Assuming that the guy used not to take any paperwork/proof from broker}

Anyway the moral of the story is, Your apple can't give a part of the picture out of nowhere unless "Apple is stealing a fraction storage space to give that extra for every picture you take".

AND NAND, 03 Feb 2020This feature is using for years in Android.. Taking photos and videos from both rear and front... moreI think the post clearly said all cameras, not just selfie and main camera.
And it's not an android feature that a phone can capture video with front and back camera simultaneously. If I'm not mistaken this feature was introduced with Nokia Pureview at first.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2020Most useless feature out there. This is just for bragging rights nothing else. I actually ... moreHow is this useless ! This is one of the best feature if someone wants to use it for some professional use. This will also give smartphone a clear edge over any Cameras out there. I think iPhone already has this feature.
Who're you anyway ?

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2020G8/v50 first to have 4K60 EIS? This was already done on flagships of 2018.Okay name one android device had it with all the three lenses on 2018? you won't find it cause only flagship phone with triple cam (normal+ultrawide+tele) on 2018 was LG V40 except mate 20 series which came after V40 and still locked at 4K30fps

Shooting pics with all three at the same time existed already on Huawei and others.

also G8/V50 are the first to have 4K60fps EIS but no one is talking about this

DoubleTake developed this and yet, this brought a lot of attention for the Apple fans out there. So I guess Samsung will be the first in the new decade of 2020 to implement that feature on their stock camera app. (sweeps LG under the rug like always)

This will just waste space and cause more cleanup work.

It is a gimmick feature, that I assume some will try once or twice then forget about it and stick to the better way of taking photos, one focal length at a time.

Firewarrior96, 03 Feb 2020when LG did that , it was a problem..LG was truly unfortunate. They too innovate but they're all dismissed as gimmicks being heavily advertised by YouTubers (never on TV and malls) only to never be used again. Modularity in G5, Hand ID in G8, etc. LG V40 is the first phone to use that but the only noteworthy thing everyone knew about the V40 was the most abysmal battery endurance rating of 64h. That is a deal breaker so no one knew about anything good about V40.
