Don't buy the k series .. I just bought the k20 pro recently I got an series issue with battery drained like hell without installing apps except pre installed apps like Facebook and WhatsApp .. I raised an request that the issue I faced right know, they going sort it out unless u need to visit their service centre.. remeber Xiaomi won't give proper updates it's an disappointment for an user (customer), my suggestion is better to wait for OP 8 lite and 8 series of go with APPLE

People complaining about popups are nuts or paid by xiaomi or abnormal. Why would you break the popup. And its guaranteed for 300 K popups. Thats whole lot enough.
K30 is a HUGE DOWNGRADE over K20 let alone K20Pro.
I believe K30 would be a disaster unless priced half of K20.
Hopefully K40 should have these-
- Full screen with popup camera. Must!
- AMOLED screen and no IPS crap please. I have used both and there is a difference as day and light in quality!
- No 120 HZ crap as its taxing on the battery. I would love 60HZ only.
- Decent cameras as in K20, K20 pro atleast
- Glass body with metallic frame and a design like the K20 unlike the plastic crap on K30!
- I am fine with no expandable memory as its waste due to low speed and extra hassles.
Waiting for K40 now and hopefully its not a disasterous downgrade like the K30 series.
If not Xiaomi I hope Realme or some other manufacturer gives these.

I think either it's gonna be as bad as the k30 and poco X2 or it's gonna be over priced k30 was not a true successor to the k20 so I think it'll happen to the k30 pro as well and Xiaomi realised this mess and is gonna stop the sales of the k20 pro

K20 pro has been released for a while and it's undergone price cuts few times.
K30 offers 120hz screen, higher resolution Sony sensor,
And an SD slot apart from that it's mostly same specs with a downgraded chipset from SD855 to SD730G.
Although the preference of IPS or AMOLED displays are individual based, people had a choice to go for a full screen display device with a flagship chipset vs a punch hole one by extending their budget slightly a bit. If that happens their sales Will divide between the two devices. So they R.I.P the K20 pro so that only one device available on market that's K30 , at least the pro version comes if at all. in the meantime they try to sell the K30 to cover up the production cost.

I wish that they can continue selling this device with progressive pricecuts like poco F1. Even though it's their flagship, it's stuck on November security patch (Indian unit). I fear what will be its future support once k30 pro launches.
