Anonymous, 09 Feb 2020Get an adapter, extra painEither get an adapter or put up with Bluetooth.

I really don't care, I'm happy with Bluetooth and with the tweaks in the developers menus, I can adjust it to more or less my satisfaction.

abc_to_xyz, 08 Feb 2020Pretty sure buying an additional dongle or bluetooth buds wont be a problem if you're spending... moreHe's never gonna buy the phone, neither the accessory.
He just wants to complain about manufacturers not giving 3.5mm jack.
He probably using those 200 dollar phones (which are not bad at all).

Fed Up, 07 Feb 2020Under $1,000 dollars? Not a chance. User replaceable battery? No, because they want to make... moreTrue, and that's why they give free great quality accessories (AKG headphones, high speed charger etc) in the box, expandable microSD storage, much better storage options for the price etc.

You're on a different planet. Sound and light have stopped reaching your way.

Why is everyone so obsessed with crazy fast charging?

Do you want to fry your battery as fast as possible or you just can't separate yourself from the phone?

WazzaG, 08 Feb 2020Adapters can be found all over the web and at reasonable prices Aliexpress, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon etc.Do your homework. It's not that simple. Not all adaptors work with all phones. So just buying the cheapest may land you with one that won't work with your phone. Look up active vs passive ones and that's not the end of it.

Well, my S10e still has plenty of life in it, and I'm not a person who likes to spend.
So, maybe next year, or maybe the year after next year :)

Jaeger, 07 Feb 2020Despite seeing many comments ranting against jack removal in flagships, OEMs keep releasing ja... moreJust one problem with that theory. OnePlus got rid of the jack when they knew full well well over 40% of users were still using wired headphones and put up the price of their adaptor by over 50% at the same time. It isn't consumers that don't want the the sockets., it's the manufacturers because they make more money out of wireless devices.
