That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard!

Best thing would be to just use vanilla android and leave bootloader unlocked.
People would take care of the rest themselves.

Why pre-install the apps if the users can install them from their AppGallery? And if they're not in there, how will the apps get updated?

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2020How you can be so sure it can be uninstall? And how can’t you??? Anyway, I read that they have plans for 70 apps total. Selection of apps will depend on market phone is headed. For instance if series of phone goes to Europe, they’ll install most popular apps in Europe. It doesn’t have to be 70 apps, it can be 30 most popular apps in Europe.
Thats’s not so bad considering Apple or Samsung have at least 10 bloatware apps by default in every phone.
What I’m worry about- will those apps Huawei install be updatable and if so, how?

How useless are the general populace if they can not download and install a single file executable. Have they never set up any software on any non mobile, or pre Android device in their life? If someone can not perform this action then they should not buy any device as they will not have general knowledge to safely navigate a digital environment and are a risk to themselves and others.

Note7 owner, 07 Feb 2020Huawei is taking bloatware to a new level. Good Job with forcing people into your box. My friend i bet those apps could be removed or at least disabled so noone is forcing you to anything.
Nowdays phones have enough storage for having like 6GB for OS and another 3-4GB for few preinstalled apps.

AnonD-754814, 07 Feb 2020Can we now call Huawei , The King of Bloatware ?No we cant that title belongs to apple since first Iphone.
Without itunes you cant do litterary anything and Itunes is nothing just obsolette third party bloatware app.

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2020And it will eat up 3-4 GB extra space..Man nowds even basic budget phones have 32 or 64GB disk space so taking 6GB by OS and another 4GB by apps wouldnt be big problem.

freebird, 07 Feb 202070 more bloatwares? Man you cant satisfy everyone.
But tons of people would welcome this move.
The otherhalf will cry.
If this wont be part of the OS and can be easily removed its a good move.
Noone forcing you to keep it there.
If it wont get out of device at least you can disabble that app forever so you still have more than one choice.

AnonD-908380, 07 Feb 2020Bloatware is bloatwareMan every phone have it. Lots of google advertising, xiaomi advertising, Samsung UI is also pure bloatware and i rather dont speak about IOS which without bloatware like Itunes doesnt cooperate with anything human made.

AnonD-908380, 07 Feb 2020Bloatware is bloatwareYes true, no one likes 70 preinstalled apps. If, say they preloaded the top 10 apps it would be bearable. Otherwise no thanks.
