Yet another generic glass phablet, there're tons of devices exactly like this one, absolutely nothing interesting about the phone... Moreover, why would anyone give $430 for a SD765 phone if they can get e.g. Mi 9T Pro with SD 855 for ~370$?

If this smartphone had 5500mAh battery then it could be beast, but now its just average chinese smartphone. I like that Xiaomi increasing battery even in flagship killers and everyone should. I think 5000mAh should be minimum for 6.4 smartphone, 5500mAh for 6.7 and 6000mAh for 6.9. I have Mi Note 10, 9.7mm thick but still feels good in the hands. First 2-3days it was weird, but then I just loved that.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2020SD765 for 430$ is weak. Plenty of budget flagships will come around that price with SD865. Not everyone wants SD8xx. I dont ! Becouse 8xx series is not power efficient compared to SD4xx, SD6xx or SD7xx.

This is really interesting phone, I only wish for bigger baterry.

By the way, performance-wise, D1000L (Antutu 400000) is substantially better than SD765 (Antutu 320000). D1000L also outperforms SD765 in terms of 5G modem and thermal efficiency.

Dimencity 1000L is a one-off chip for Oppo. Oppo is running out of D1000L chips. On the other hand, Qualcomm has just reduced the price of SD765 by 30% and the supply is plenty. In the previous years, Qualcomm chips were always in short supply in the 1st Quarter, because every phone-makers were rushing to get their hands on those chips as early as possible. However for 2020, phone-makers are running towards MediaTek Dimencity chips, and Qualcomm chips are in oversupply.

Very very good phone. If I wasn't such a heavy gamer. Then the 765 would be way more than powerful enough. And the colors/design of oppo are very beautiful. Very popular in South East Asian countries. No.1 in Philippines.

Color OS 7 is actually one of the most beautifully designed OS's yet.
