Mmm looking at the inside of the LG V60. Inside are four cameras: massive main camera, ultrawide, tele and tof camera? Curious what this massive main camera 'sensor' is :o, but to bad there is no periscope tele camera.

But it's still fixing the problem that did not even need to exist in first place.

It's funny, I was actually thinking of LG's V60 coming with that battery and the same notch for dual selfie cam and the quad camera from the G9 reveal. If they bring back the MIL-STD-G rating (something everyone here seems to take for granted), DAC, 8GB RAM/UFS 3.0 256GB ROM, microSD card slot (hybrid or dedicated, I don't care), and give it a 2K with 90Hz refresh rate P-OLED panel, this phone will be a monster.

5000mAh battery looks promising, waiting for actual release and gsmarena endurance test. Last interesting phone from LG was LG G4 due to fact battery was remoable and you can swap it with zerolemon epic offerings. But that phone was sadly plagued with hardware defects (after time it just froze), there was countless reports about it forums, in the end LG admitted cause was faulty soldering machine. So I did not got that phone. But I really wanted.

                A 3.5 mm Jack?

On top a custom ESS quad Sabre DAC?

That too, with that blasphemous 5000 mAh battery?

This proves how manufacturers lie through their teeth when they say headphone jack + big battery is not feasible anymore.

                F*** em ALL.

You go LG. Even if you suck in other department, at least you do something right.

Not that it really matters, because LG ofter fails in other aspects of the audio chain (especialy when using IE headhones).

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2020As long as they have regional differences with their phones, I won't consider an LGThey do not do that since LG V30, if I am not misstaken at least.
LG G6 was the last butchered phone I remember - not having Qi or DAC or even headphones included.

Still on a fence what to pick - LG V60 or Samsung S20 Ultra ... LG is certainly more feature packed, but Samsung on the other hand always has an edge in software and camera departement.
Can't wait for GSM review for these devices.
It's quite interesting how excelent is audio capture on Samsung and LG, they both take different takes on audio processing but their results are best on the market.

That's a tempting offer if the price is right. Sadly LG doesn't offer service in my country so only if amazon provides warranty. Will see if Sony comes up with a phone with a 2day battery life like in the past.

GregLu, 09 Feb 2020Don't expect a DAC outside Korea, if they follow they same trend since the V30 ...All V30 variant have quad dac.. and every flagship phones after that also equipped with quad dac.., g7,v40,g8,v50 ... Only lg g6 did not include quad dac except for korean & southeast asia variant.
