The S20 series are $250-$400 more expensive than S10 series and you can get 256GB storage from the $900 Note 10 from 6 months ago. The prices are $100 more than the highest rumored price.
I see more problems than benefits for my use. 100x zoom with no EVF will give more trouble with trying to stabilize your shots. Sensor that small will make this a daylight camera only at any zoom range to keep shutter speeds high enough for a stabilized shot. 108 MP on this tiny sensor is a big trade off of quantity over quality. I would never buy this phone for solely it’s camera capabilities. There are many 1” sensors with 100x zooms capabilities for much less money than this.
I don't really like new-old design but one thing is good for sure - no bloody curves on display. Battery size looks promising too. I believe that the camera quality will be the same regardless different sensors etc which means my backup phone Google Pixel 2 will be still better in most situations, especially when shooting moving objects. So I'd take S20 but after half a year or so from the release when the price drops down to reasonable value.
None of the above.
Obviously the s20 ultra is my pick though a little pricy.
geek-a-contra, 11 Feb 2020in the comparison tool, what the "3x hybrid optical zoom" means? 3x optical + something digita... more"Hybrid" zoom usually means smaller optical and a bit of digital with almost no sacrifices.
Since the 64MP sensor is for 8K recording, I bet the lens has just a tiny bit of zoom, like 1.5x.
More than that would make videos field of view really narrow.
Looking at features and size, the S20 would be the phone for me, if it had a headphone jack.

too expensive
Monster phones! S20 trio will be a great hit, no doubts.
Hope they release a active phone too, 799/899 sounds about right for s20
