Google still hasn't come up with anything that's as good as Facetime and iMessage. And no, not all of us want to use Skype (or anything Microsoft). Hangouts was supposed to be that Facetime rival, but it flopped.
And while on the topic of reducing bloatware, perhaps Samsung would like to discontinue Bixby. Everyone else in Android world is using Google Assistant. Samsung should stop inventing crap that no one uses, just to juxtapose itself as the number one rival of Apple.

Akaike, 11 Feb 2020More bloatware Did you even read the article? You won't need to open another app to use the feature. It will work directly from the dialer, so that means no added bloatware.

Strangely enough it appeared in my Huawei P9 Plus out of the blue without me installing it. It was in my contacts, any contacts I went to it would show there. I did a factory reset for other reasons and it wasn't there anymore and haven't showed face since. So when GSMArena mentioned that you can just go into your contacts and place a video call just like that, it's not the first. However, having it in the dialler is wasn't the case for me so that may be a new thing.
