ILoveSmartphones, 12 Feb 2020That S20 Ultra has made me to lose interest in other phones...all upcoming phone are lameI agree, all I keep thinking is about the s20 ultra. Now I gotta buy the Z flip to enjoy while i wait for the Ulta to show up.
Ekott, 12 Feb 2020The poster clearly says Mi 10 and not Mi 10 pro 5G. So stop miscruiting this for mi 10 pro 5G.... moreMi 10 Pro may have different better specs, you are right!
Mark, 12 Feb 2020So still no waterproof phone... Maybe Mi12 will finally be waterproofOf course no waterproofing. It costs money.
This is how Samsung got so expensive -adding more and more small useless perks and features over the years.
KISS - keep it simple. But all the mighty hardware, and don't add any unnecessary gimmicks that increase the price - and you get the same phone as S20+ in almost all areas, but half the price - as it was all years before.
Can't wait to upgrade my Mi8 to Mi10 (maybe even Pro, depends on the price in 6 months).
The poster clearly says Mi 10 and not Mi 10 pro 5G. So stop miscruiting this for mi 10 pro 5G. Just the vanilla edition.
G, 12 Feb 2020Curved screen for both?
That's a deal breaker for me…
After Huawei ruled itself out with no ... moreCurved screen edges is the worst thing that ever happened to smartphone usability.
HW designers probably asked SW people if they can solve it by accidental touch prevention, and they said "yes we can" but then failed very miserably at it.
Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020It will save battery and i dont see any big difference between 90hz and 120hz display. If you want to save 10-15% battery by switching from 60hz to 120hz, it's your choice to reduce the refresh rate through settings. Why rob others of using 120hz refresh rate?
Xiaomi ain't OnePlus which sucks at battery life.
So still no waterproof phone... Maybe Mi12 will finally be waterproof
Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020So the Redmi K30 (not even the pro version) gets 120hz display but Mi 10 the flagship gets 90hz? It will save battery and i dont see any big difference between 90hz and 120hz display.
So the Redmi K30 (not even the pro version) gets 120hz display but Mi 10 the flagship gets 90hz?
notafanboy, 12 Feb 202090hz is more than enough, I don't understand the complainers.More than enough for you not for others.
Big difference IMO between 120hz and above when going back to 60hz.
90hz to 60hz isn't that big of a deal.
What about the weight? Let it please be the same or less weight than the Mi 9. I hated Mi Mix2s 190g+ :(
Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020no, 4500mAh is not enough, again it wont last 48h of average usage because of the 90Hz screen.why would you want 48h use time without charger ? besides there is settings app where you can change from 90hz to 60hz
Since Sammy is getting so expensive now, it's time to get an alternate brand, Xiaomi could be a good choice.....
Only 90 hz? No thanks
The Mi10 will seemingly have many new upgrades and while the updates are expected and appreciated. They are also raising the price, charging roughly the same as One Plus. I hope that Xiaomi has considered that OnePlus like, Sony, Samsung, Apple, Pixel, LG and the fading Essential has all LTE bands. If they expect to charge more, then they should offer all bands the same as other phones. Plenty of Budget phones for under $200 include all bands, what is the problem with Xiaomi and bands. Yes this phone has 5G capability, which may work in some areas. its widespread availability is still a couple of years away. At the moment if I upgrade from my Mi8 to a Mi10, then it better offer all of the bands that I need.
