Not a good idea, what a joke. What happens when u have to take a call, remember dude, at the end of the day its a phone. How would u know who's calling u. and when ur calling some 1 you will look crazy. Its a great idea 4 a screen for digital books, this should be its use it would work really good that way.
They announced this nearly a year ago! It was meant to be out during 2007, I guess they're just pretending that it's a new product.
These guys have a real niché in the market. give of take a few years and we'll have similar screens in nearly all everyday electronic products. I'll definitely wait for that day. The company should patent their idea and gather more investors to develop this idea further! Gooie ide´ jongens!!!
nice. i think thats a great design for the comming years. dnt let da bad comments put u down. im a designer n i kno wat im sayin. its ok to hav a gray screen since its the 1st of its kind. soon i bet it will hav a colour touch screen and all the latest features. just look at the 1st car to be design and the cars of today. in time it will progress. good luck. nice folding screen. but hey dnt make it that expensive rigth now. the black n white screen is not worth that much...
well i think that they copied Nokia's idea of flexible screen, becouse Nokia Made Prototype of first flex-color-lcd screen phone, video on Youtube.com is original nokia video Search for Nokia 888 I think that they will make this phone soon.
looks cool i guess :)
this is total crap it doesnt hav a coloured display wats the use then its a total waste of money , my iphone is still better
good tech, but dun buy this. simply because no color display. color fold screens will come ,
very interesting lets see what other tech.. wonders will come from the mobile industry
simply out class
Aaaaahhhhhhh...where technology is going to take us,no one knows!! Infact this is a great idea and i m sure very soon we will b watching movies on such displays! You guys should remember the time when Nokia launched 3210, world's 1st mobile without a visible antena. It was such an innovation at that time and now we dont even think about a cell with antena. Similar is the case here. Hales to Polymer Vision...with hopes to have devices with foldable displays having picture qualities like LCD's or OLED's:-)
