GSMA wanted the Spain government to declare an emergency of health related issues so that the economic loss of cancellation will be fully covered by the insurance company, but the local government refused.
According to the most recent information from Spain, MWC 2020 will proceed as usual. (The organizer is not ready to accept the full cost of cancellation.)
