I am eagerly waiting to see what Samsung can do with the 108MP sensor in the S20 Ultra. Especially with the 12MP photos.

And no Iphone will not be top because always camera performance is worse then others.
And Iphone 12 is end of 2020 a lot more than 6 months ;)

Those who know a little more about tech than a regular person assertively claim DxOMark is paid BS that is not worth paying attention to, but true enthusiasts look into individual scores and their photo samples so that they can make their own decisions (and most of the time those scores do make sense).

They haven't even announced anything so doesn't even count.
So it probably will take Sony 2.5 plus years to dish out a 108mp camera.

Pixel 5 too .... S20 Ultra sports 1/1.33" sensor which is a bigger sensor than 1/1.7" sensor on the s20, upcoming pixel and Xperia flagships.

I'm gonna give you one instance about dxomark, we all know dxomark review back camera before reviewing the front one, Huawei paid them a lot, so they review v30 pro back camera giving it a score 0f 122, but didn't review the front till now, but for nova 6 5g, they only review the front as soon as it's out, still no score for the back, all this are marketing terms, with both phones topping dxomark chart, 75% of people would want to buy, why don't they review both front n back camera for both devices, this way Huawei can sell both, Nova for front camera, honor for back camera, you get it

Dont forget that other brands open apps faster than samsung using Samsung memory.
Other phones show better images than samsung, using samsung screen.
Nikon, Leica, Panasonic, Fuji, Hasselblad, Pentax, Ricoh all use Sony sensors. Even compacts from Canon have too ..
You wont see any flagship from Huawei with isocell.
Apple never had isocell for main camera, same goes to google, oneplus, htc and LG.
Sony sells cmos to be used for huge videocameras (movies, tv), security, cars, medical gear etc ....
Sony has over 50% of the market.

If s20 doesn't get reviewed in a month's time, then know Samsung didn't pay, and when it gets reviewed it will get a lower score

If their score is higher people will want to buy regardless the price
