I moved to the pixel experience ROM on my OnePlus.
Realized the difference between OEM's and Google's stock android within 2 days.
My next device will either be an iPhone or a Pixel for sure.

Domestoboto, 15 Feb 2020IDK about that, a moderator at the OP forums said that the CORONAVIRUS outbreak really screwed... moreJanuary security patch is already out more than 1 month+, even before the outbreak. And as a developer they already got source code way before that. My Pixel 2 phone already got Feb update last week.

OnePlus is giving us bi-monthly security patches, it's not irregular since it's every 2 months, but it's definitely late, we're already mid-February.

They are always late, Coronavirus or not, they updated my phone to Android 10 fast, but they are always late on security patch.
I heard some people say that they give up bi-monthly updates, but even if they do that, at least give us February patch, no, they have to be a month late.
So now, my OnePlus 7 is on November "2019" patch until I receive this update.

Very late update. OnePlus is goin same direction as other Android phone makers, late and irregular updates for max 1-1.5 year after phone release. That's biggest problem of Android. Except pixel and essential(rip) no manufacturer is giving good software support.
