Rumors + renders = nothing to see.

Give me a poo brown, or baby sick yellow/green phone with 3 rear cameras, great screen, great battery, Pixel quality photos, stock android, oh, and a plastic back. I'd be happy. I don't care or the cameras are in a triangle, rectangle or circle. Just make them epic. I find designs to be much of a muchness. Rather have a cork back, durable device. Soli, no tah. Underscreen fingerprint, only if it works through tempered glass screen protector. Wireless charging would be good. Oh and 128nstorage, as a minimum.
It doesn’t really matter, Google is free to experiment whatever they think is appropriate! Their mobiles lost its purpose since the launch of Pixel series! They lost the premium space by pricing it for luxury brand which it is not!
Peachy001, 15 Feb 2020I hear you, but. With a camera that sticks out, case makers usually have the chance to work up... moreVery true, but that never bothered us in the past, when phones were 3-4 times the thickness they are now. I'm sure the extra mm or two the case adds is something you can get used to. Also with large area's like this, where the camera's stick out, the case usually doesn't cover it, wich leaves a massive open spot for damage (The bigger the area's are becoming, the bigger the problem). When camera's would stay flush to the back, case makers could either just cut out holes around the camera or even cover it completely with a see trough part in front of the camera's.
Google....we make the world most fugly phones.
I don't care what design they will use this year. Just fix the phone! Last year was a big disappointment.

With a camera that sticks out, case makers usually have the chance to work up to a size, which usually allows the case and cameras to sit flush. Therefore limiting overall thickness. With a thicker phone, the case will add another mm or so.
Oppaii, 15 Feb 2020I love the corners but that camera design is somehow ugly but at the very least it has uniquen... morethe camera literally "kill me" face
I really don't get this trend with extruding camera humps/area's, I'd rather have a slightly thicker phone and have the camera's stay flush with the back than something like this. Has been a returning thing all the way back to the iPhone 6 days. One extra benefit for having a slightly thicker phone is more space inside for let's say a better battery etc.
This camera setup looks so much better than the horrid square islands in the left corner.
Just read a distressing article elsewhere, suggesting that the next Pixel 5 and xl, could be without the latest Snapdragon... That really would be tragic. I wish they would just ditch the Solo stuff, stick to proving the basics, like great screen, stock software, epic cameras, decent battery, and proper biometrics, ie fingerprint or exceptional face I'd. Pixels should pitch for those things, not Chuck in random, poorly optimised tech. If I want bleeding edge innovation, ie space zoom, I have Huawei or Samsung.
I like it. What I'd say to the haters is, what would you class as a good design? Do you have some shapes in mind? Genuine question, not being silly, I really would encourage people to express dislike, but surely you ought to describe what you would prefer. Hopefully they include a fingerprint sensor in this one.
the video is filled with clickbait. if google isn't going to do this design i hope someone else does.
I love the corners but that camera design is somehow ugly but at the very least it has uniqueness which everyone doesn't have roght now
The Pixels are always the first ones to leak, and their leaks are usually on point. So this might just be the final design.
At least they're finally implementing the Ultrawide camera this year.
Just what you’d expect
Looks butt ugly
I just love it
