I think the conclusions are wrong. The display is actually glass. What was scratched is the plastic screen protector covering it. Those new flexible glass displays are extremely thin, under a millimeter! So it's possible he didn't actually reach the glass display under the plastic screen protector and simply scratched the screen protector.

Damaging with picks and sharp objects maybe acceptable but with fingernail NO WAY and imo Samsung should've gone with two piece glass protector instead of UTG which would be applied to upper and lower half in two pieces and small crease psrt would be left open though
spending so much on a phone that can easily be scratched with your fingernails, not worth it can’t even put a screen protector on it as well
I don't know why they call it glass as it doesn't have the properties of glass more plastic. Not durable or strong. It should be called UTP.
