I too was chatting with an agent from Samsung Philippines to clarify about it. Turns out, they don't know what they're talking about. I asked if the Ultra will be 5G capable, they said NO. Only 4G capable will be issued in the Philippines.
Learned from a different source that upon launch, 5G hardware will be disabled...

If Exynos were that good, why isn't any other smartphone manufacturer using it?

kira, 18 Feb 2020yeah don't know why can't samsung just stick with snapdragon like every normal flagship phone ... moreI agree with you completely. My Exynos powered Note doesn't allow me to load Gcam, my battery usage is not as good as the Snapdragon varient and our updates seem to take forever which makes no sense at all???

Same in Turkey. It happened before, when the S4 and the Note series back then was announced. They were debuted without LTE in Turkey. While most of the other phones like iPhone 5 came with an LTE modem on board.
The S20 Ultra costs the same as the iPhone 11 Pro (64GB) in Indonesia (checked the web for prices). The regular S20, meanwhile, gets you a vanilla iPhone 11 (also 64GB). A S20/iPhone 11 is about $1000. The Ultra/11 Pro is around $1300-$1400.
In Indonesia, iPhones are severely overpriced (but it has a very high resale value anyway-a 2nd hand XS Max gets you a new iPhone 11). Unfortunately, Samsung phones, while expensive, loses a lot of value. A 2nd hand S10+ costs about $550 when it is in prime condition (it is about $1100 anew). That's the Note 10 trade in prices. Meanwhile, Samsung accepts an iPhone XR (also worth $1100 anew) that's worth about the same with the S10+. The XR was already replaced by the iPhone 11 at that time-and the S20 hasn't even landed yet. Now S10 series prices are set to go down again.
Not saying the Samsung is unnecessarily overpriced. If the LTE-only chipset is Exynos 9830/990, I will suggest you to skip the phone. Confirm this in your store. My S10e Exynos has bad battery life, decent rear cameras (weaker than SD variant), laggy performance and overheating/lag in demanding games such as LifeAfter or PUBG Mobile, and crashes in browser/apps.
It's also pretty expensive in Singapore, the iPhone 11 is cheaper. Australia retails the iPhone 11 at $50 less than the S10e. Again, make sure you're getting a Snapdragon variant. Avoid Exynos at all costs-it's not a flagship-worthy chipset. Your money can go to the upcoming Mi 10 Pro or Oppo Reno 3 Pro instead.
