As you said, it's not 2016 anymore so a device that looks like an iphone 8 should be priced much lower and that's why it's highly possible that it's gonna be priced as leaked. Please just read and think before you write. that's all you need to do.

It will be interesting to see how the new iPhone 9 will look and how will be priced. I'll be very surprised if it's gonna cost just 399$. I know that this used to be SE pricetag but it's not 2016 anymore..

I really want to know what Apple's mind is. Why does it launch iPhone9 this year? Does Apple not know that iPhone9 has too old exterior design and not cheap price?

LMAO..It is not lame it is genius. The lead up to Christmas is always their best, beating all others in terms of sales in that quarter every year.
Additionally, they always compare against their previous models, the marketing is so good and strong that people like you have the impression they’ve “claimed to be first” when it fact it’s ALWAYS a comparison against previous iPhone models.
It creates this “illusion” that they do not compete with android makers, but that doesn’t matter as people like you ALWAYS comes to the conclusion they’re advancing their techs to compete with android, when this is not the case at all. They compete against themselves.

SMH It inly proves that they’re doing it to claim innovation while copying and improving their peers shortcomings and lastly to rob people’s (mostly Apple cultists) bonuses and tell the world they have the most profit.
