If the total was 4500mAh then I would have to agree but the difference between 3600 and 4000 is marginal

I just can't belive, that Helio P22 vas on a Xiaomi Redmi 6, paired with 3 or 4GB of RAM, and that was on June 2018... With price tag around 100 usd. Sony what are you doing, and i bet, even after 2 years, price of this Xperia L4 will be higher than 100 isd.. Also, Android 9 Pie out of the box (software from 2018), in February 2020? Shame, Sony Xperia phones used to be good, with good spec, design, no it seems like samo Chinese OEM just with way worse and older spec

I admire Sony for their respect of their employees. Making them produce unprofitable phones just for the sake of keeping them on salary and avoid mass unemployment.

If it had a 4000mAh or bigger I would say its a great endurance phone in combo with the power-efficient chip and 720p screen but this aint enough... Decent? Yeah but not a top-dog in its price range... Sony focus mainly on sound and that could be a issue when it comes to cost here... Probably good for use with Sony headphones! :)

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2020ugly notch + 21:9 ? I wouldn't mind the notch if that chin wasn't that big. They might as well put the camera in the chin. At least, the Pixel 4 did it (somewhat) right.

where is that large battery ? :o) 3500mAh today is not large, it is standart. Look on Motorola G8 Power, 5000mAh, yep that is Large battery.

Looking at Oneplus now. Unless Sony offer better base on my needs for the money.

In 2020, apart from SOC, P30 Pro specs already 1 year ahead last year & guaranteed updated to next Android 11, with GMS supported. Its the best bang for the buck phone i could think of now.

It's not just the companies to blame for notches and other absurd specs, it's mostly the demands of consumers. Stupid gimmicks sell, plain and simple. Complain all you want, but nothing will change unless the money goes a different direction.
