Please, Apple, consider letting your NFC and bluetooth be able to connect with other devices. iPhone has NFC and bluetooth for sure but they are able to connect with other Apple devices only. So for me, it is just a basic phone that hasn't NFC.

Apple considers letting iPhone users change their phone to android. Now, that the kind of news we need.

Can't believe it's still in 'considering letting users' age.

Apple is faltering, same as Microsoft. Both's big name OSs and their recent iterationsare full of bugs, cause system instability, are miles short of innovation and are locked in Ice ages.

seriously, apple at this point, is kinda like the laughing stock of the open-computing world. I guess apple realized they are losing the battle, much like how dead the Mac OS is now, save for the small niche fanboy market it still has. Evolve, or get left behind. That is how the tech world has always operated.

iOS has barely changed for the better since 2016. It no longer feels like a leading mobile OS. It feels second-rate, ridged, clunky and old fashioned. The app store feels deserted compared to how it used to be, with next to no new apps and so many being neglected. It's an OS in decline and Android is running rings around it at the moment.

I think the ridged authoritarian approach has fallen out of fashion. Maybe Apple feels that it has to keep it up as that's what Steve Jobs would have wanted. I'm not so sure though. Steve Jobs kept up with the trends, going one better than his competitors in terms of quality. Sadly, quality is something people associate with post-Jobs Apple.

                      [deleted post]Owned a Galaxy device.

Unfortunately it is not as good as ios in my experience. OneUI is just laggy, to be honest. Already owned a Note FE and multitasking is a pain.

I would rather use MIUI or ColorOS these days.

I appreciate not having to click set as default when I open an app on my IPhone XR. Same can’t be said about my Note 10. However I’m finding the Pixel phones to be more like my iPhone.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2020iPhone users will say wow innovation but you can do it in android many years.Still, it is default for apps but not services embedded in android. It is reasonable, as both the non-removable search bar and the news on the left side are Google's, but it would be nice if they at least let you open the side news on Google's RSS reader or at best in private mode. Both wouldn't make me ditch DuckDuckGo, but they would be a better offering.

Not an Apple fan, I have only handled an iPod and that was for some minutes. Just saying google could still do better.
