Band 71 can only be rolled out as TV stations relocate to make room for it. Being in the 600 MHz gives it the longest range but it's likely to need special hardware too.

T-Mobile has free global roaming in countries where it's possible. This means that T-Mobile branded phones should have Europe and Asia bands too.

Specs for the Xperia 1.2 say that it works for pretty much everything except Band 71. Rumored specs for the LG V60 say it has all the North America bands but it wouldn't be good for traveling.

They don’t have a good track record or brand recognition for their phones. The A tier brands you mentioned have been consistent for the past 4 years minimum. Sony should take the Oneplus route to grow this division rather than just let it slowly burn.

Wake up, people. Other A-brands like Samsung, Huawei, Apple sell their phones for similar price or more expensive.

Power Delivery 21W.
50% in 30 min.

And your battery will be about 97-98 after two years. Unlike other brands that after 1 year is down to 85% already.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2020Spec wise this camera setup is inferior to The. S20U's one (especially front facing camera). ... moreLeave the front camera as there are lot many phones out there which as specifically made or have camera implementation which gives far superior image to what SONY as well as SAMSUNG flagships can capture using front cams.

About the primary camera. What makes you say that S20U has better primary camera than SONY XPERIA 1 II.

Judging by the sheer amount of praise (200 comments yikes!) for simply bringing back the headphone jack, I'm betting Sony is gonna have a good year this time.
This phone is now on my wishlist if that says anything along with the ROG 2.

Phone Manufacturers are difficult to please people like you since you wanted a FlagShip branded Model on a Cheaper price. Why won't you make your own phone and run its own software. Sony did a lot of innovations back in the hey day. Nowadays, every Sony firsts are a standard to every phone company out there. Thank Sony for people clamoring for IP68 on phones for example.
