I admit the back design is more... polarising, literally.

All that's needed now is for ZTE to being their A-game when it comes to software.

"One of the Red Magic 5G’s key selling points will be its 144Hz display, making it the world's first smartphone to sport a panel with such high refresh rate"

        What?
        What about this one?

Every time the processor gets a little more efficient doesn't mean they should drop the battery capacity basically negating the gained efficiency. Or counteracting it altogether.

The 865 processor is about 1/3 more economical on the battery. So the battery can be in proportion. So 4400mah is fine. Why don't people consider the processor being very efficient?

Quite tasteless, actually. If there are to be added vents or the internal fans are to be retained, the phone can trap dust. It can make the phone unreliable. Battery capacity is reduced, too. Not excited for this phone. Will rather look forward to the realme X50 Pro.

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2020Old zte Nubia Red Magic 3 5000mAh, why 4400mAh new gen? Probably due to the added cameras. The previous red magic 3 and 3s only had 1 camera and an active built-in fan. Now, i think they want to keep the same size, more cameras, keep the fan but might sacrifice the battery

Going from 5,000mAH battery to a 4,400 one even after skyrocketing the refresh rate. That is definitely not going to fare well on the battery life. Guess I'm skipping this phone.

ZTE and Huawei, not only do they have the same ties to the CCP, they also have the same misguided business decisions.

Why downgrade on hardware when you have more powerful specs on your next predecessor?

                                    Just... CRAZY!
