AnonD-27765, 27 Apr 2012People here are acting like Nokia suddenly slipped out of the top 10. Nokia is still at number... moreAs a Nokia user for more than decay, I can proudly agree to you! Samsung had to try their hardest to hammer the ‘Phone Only’ making company, Nokia!!! It’s not about Samsung loosing or trying to win all the way through some fans, but making products that are here to stay for long.

People here are acting like Nokia suddenly slipped out of the top 10. Nokia is still at number 2, people!. Despite all of the negative press and all of the market losses, they are still at number 2 which is incredible. I actually would have thought that Samsung would have overtaken Nokia long time ago but not, only now. It's actually too hard for Samsung and they needed a lot of effort to overtake Nokia's position. And don't say Nokia is finished. Even Sony which has been bankrupt for decades now is still making phones.
AnonD-843, 27 Apr 2012i never thought ppl are this much mad to use these plastic craps. huh foolsLet the number do the talking... these plastics won best smartphone awards this year... google has galaxy s3 as the most searched smartphone ever... just for some people, fact will not change. And the fact is, Samsung is a WINNER!!! Where are the other plastic for critics, in the dustbin?

It was unintentional… But you saying fan boys aren’t 16+, calling a reputed company and their followers ‘Pathetic’ makes you what 50+???… too mature to understand the fact although discourse noise of an immature… don’t go on my comprehensions or the language I speak, just for you to know, I’m a Tech Magazine editor, and undoubtedly, a SAMSUNG fan… because for me, not the name of the company but technology does the talking, and so I write what’s factual… which may unquestionably offend some “in your primes” citizens like you who wants to see their subsequent company on the rise. .. I’m not a GEEK or a tech savvy person, but I deem talking with the whole story and not friction. I won’t argue with you on this but we can positively converse with statistics and benchmarks for top flagships for all the Smartphone companies.
And now it's your turn GSMARENA! please slide down NOKIA and Put Samsung on the TOP of the Brand's List !!
The graph may be going up and up in Q2 cause something big is coming on 3rd may

The lot of you fanboys are one and the same no matter which manufacturer you support! A truly openminded individual appreciates all technological advancements, but you kids (are any of you even over 16?) sound like broken records, pounding the same mundane monotonous tune in every topic. Hopefully one day you will eventually grow up...
Nonetheless well done Samsung, this achievement may well be the turning point where the underdogs will put their best foot forward after seeing Samsungs potential. Nokia has been a rock for 14 years and now with the help of Google, Samsung has taken the reigns. Things are about to get interesting.

Well, Some other company can beat Samsung in near future, but it can never be HTC... I feel pity on HTC fan's... But as they say, don't loose hope, you may get to see HTC on top, probably in the year 2050... you'll someday win.. But presently, Samsung Rules the Market!!! Can you change the reality with your immagination...

Were are the iCrapers... They say Samsung copies innovative ideas from eveyone else, but looking at the numbers and statistics, the answer is clear. I don't think they copy but even if they does, they make it better than rest... Awesome Samsung... I love everything you do... from consumer electronics to smartphones.. you're the best.. and you must be willing to take a blame for increasing iHaters and FOKIA or whateve... The GSM Award proved it before that samsung's the best, these numbers proved they're now above the rest...
Great job Samsung, a deserved success, but it's rather naive to dismiss Nokia's 14-year reign as a fluke. True, the Finnish company stuck too long with an unwanted and lethargic Symbian OS but still churns out some of the most iconic handsets you can get. Besides, not too many companies possess the panache to, literally, come back from the dead as the famous Finn. Get it clear, Nokia's got the guts to get its mojo back and reclaim it's lost crown. Time will tell
