The S10 ultra has extremely capable hardware. The algorithms just needs tweaking. It can improve a lot.

I reviewed Galaxy s20 ultra pictures samples,
It's good quality camera phone,
But not a revolutionary ones,
More just like a normal evolution,
On this price range, not worth to purchase,
But maybe in coming months or even weeks, with good discounts, cover this subject.

[deleted post]I used to really dislike their hipster approach. But I think they have improved, a lot. Dieter gets a lot of YouTube time, and he is really good. Their Verge Science series was also good. As for this, Samsung has always had issues with their processing, they always seem to do too much of it.

Dont expect nothing more than removed beauty mode from auto mode main camera.
When they bring Note 20 series, s20 ultra will still have same too agressive NR, vibrant/warm colours.

It is NOT dual pixel. Only the S20/S20+ have dual-pixel AF. The S20 Ultra has regular PDAF.

Dual Pixel was created by Canon. Their cameras have worse AF than Nikon (PDAF) and Sony (Hybrid AF).
It is bad software in this case.

Unfortunately,updates won't make an average camera great. So far i seen over sharpened images with some purple fringing,some noisy night shots and over processed over the top HDR

Since s7 Samsung heavily bets on extreme noise reduction. Worse phones if you try to print photos.
Issues with colours, too warm tones.
Made for instagram/facebook only.

These software are incomplete because the retail version will get a final software update which none of these reviewer has.
