The HTC Wildfire is back in India, and HTC has almost nothing to do with it. HTC has licensed its Wildfire name to a Chinese manufacturer named InOne Smart Technology, a Chinese manufacturer known for its Lava-branded smartphones.
Hate to buy this Lava phones mocking HTC logo.
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2020Being one flagship off doesn't in an way, shape, or form change their point in the slightest. ... moremy point was that next HTC phones were even better after Htc 10. Under rated, but that doesn't made them bad or worst. I loved every minute of using it. I've an pixel 4 now and still miss some features that I used in my Htc u11. I'm not a fanboy, I just "hate" people that don't have a clue what they are talking about, but still they love to show their point. I make apps for a leaving for 8 years now and work with several devices every day. I see them age very quickly. I'm not an youtuber reviewer that don't know nothing about technology but still loves to talk about it, takes a phone for a couple of hours or even days and say if it's good or not, and change phones every 6 month at most. Average people doesn't do that. I would never consider samsung, lg, xiaomi, huawei, etc. all of them age bad. I only had nokia, blackberry, iphone and htc phones for a reason. And they all still work. Problem is that most people are like sheep's and if someone that have 1 million followers says that a product is not good enough, well....that became's the truth. Thank god I'm from a generation that each person had their opinion and each one had equal value. regards.

James Whister, 28 Feb 2020Htc phones only interest me because of great xda support, nothing else. Maybe in the past, definitely not so much now when their current popularity. No phones that stand out for the past 1 year
In the past they used to make best android smartphones (and even before android 1st touchscreen windows and so on smartphones)
I miss them nowadays :(

For the love of God drop the fanboy love and use logic.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2020Must be about 1/2". I have never seen a sensor with these specs. 1/2? That's like the size of the 808 sensor I think. And that was about 41.8mp at 1.4um. So 16mp at 1.4um is nowhere near that.

CptPower, 27 Feb 2020Jack is dead dont ask for it its useless technology wireless is the future it always been. This is not the future, wireless coexists with the jack perfectly, and there has been zero reason or benefit to the removal of it for the user.
Any price (when announced) can't save this phone. Why bother releasing it? I used to like HTC phones for their build quality, but even that can't save the day for this mediocre (w.r.t specs) phone.
Sorry 2GB RAM does not cut it in the Android realm anymore. No matter what tier or price the phone is in. Ignore phones less than 4GB ram if you don’t want to suffer every day of your ownership.
Design wise it's looks good, but poor specs, htc needs to improve their hardware specs, should launch more mid-range mobiles.

And what does it have to do with listening to music on the go? You dont know shit about me so quit assuming buddy. I want a phone with high quality DAC and amp rather than bringing a DAP with phone together solely for convenience reason. And no thanks with Im good with all my wire headphones and iems. Im not paying extra for inferior sound. Rather be a wannabe audiophile than a sheep.
