Just needs an 8MP camera with a Zeiss lens. Maybe really good sound with headphones would be great too. Otherwise I'm fine with the basic spec. The 0.3MP isn't even good enough for selling things on ebay. A 2MP camera would be better than the 0.3MP camera. Maybe the 0.3MP camera is better in low light.

Having an LED flash is pretty fancy when you consider the rest of the specs..
      Seems out of place.

With such a small capacity reserve, it is not even suitable as a mobile device for playing music. A better option is to have an SD card or USB stick with you, anyway we have 2020 phones are already standard 256GB¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why have an XpressMusic phone with up to 32GB in 2020. Atleast internal storage of 128GB

                    @Nokia @HMD
Please we dont need these low phones now. We need is phones that were with your amazing build factors, slide, flip, and all other kinds of tricks, but they should have very high end hardware. From outside they will look like feature phones.

                    Example :
You can make a phone that look like Nokia 5610 xMusic, then put some tripple cam on it, then snapdragon good processor, AMOLED screen, LTE/5G.
Then the user should be able to connect the phone to pc to work with a larger screen or if the user needs to play high end games, you can sell a separate large screen device that is low cost than a phone, but has good cooling and wireless/wired connection to this phone. So the gamers can play their games to the max without worrying of frying the phone.
That separate module can have :
6.5 inch screen with gaming controls..mechanical
                    4000mAh battery
                    High quality wireless connectivity
NO CAMERAS, so reduced cost etc.

Please god why can't these people do something radical like this !. Nokia was all about innovation, now they are just reinventing the wheel. If they make above proposed devices...I will sure as hell buy all !

..So, this seems like better solution for them. Making, or, remaking, only feature phones (like 3110, 8110 -banana pone, flip phone, this one from Xpress line up, etc..), here they can go wrong, with camera quality.

AnonD-914443, 28 Feb 2020ok now they start making same phone which was made almost 20 years ago. So why they not Making... moreBecause, Nokia N8 from 2010, had better photo quality, than Nokia (HMD) N9 Pureview, with 5 sensors on the back, that's a difference between developers from Nokia (most of them are at Huawei in camera dep. -, anyways), and, developers for algorithms from HMD Global Oy. So, there is no reason for new "Nokia" N8, N9, or even, some of Lumias lineup (also with great cameras), because, HMD, it seems it can't bring, at least, same quality from back camera, like it was, 10 or more years ago, on brand with same letters - Nokia.

if HMD can bring in a feature mobile with T9 keypad, android go and with qualcomm processor it would be awesome phone, because it will be smaller phone with access to the latest software

What’s the point of diversifying with those feature phones. They are all the same. Most have that 2.4 inch screen and usually a better camera than this. Who is it for? Even a teenager gets a smartphone as a first device. For kids aged between 6 and 10 maybe? Is that enough? Cuz this is surely not for elderly people with those red stripes.

As Symbian OS is pretty much dead by now

Nokia should announce the launch of Cross Platform Symbian [Programming Language]
Based on Python and C# F# etc
                                      with inbuilt AI libraries
not based on age-old java frameworks

this will help windows apps, android kotlin based apps etc to perform better
