I don't have any expectation on Redmi note 9 series to win in this competition with realme 6 series. Big degradation on soc. Redmi plz don't think you are in 2017 when there is no competitor that time. Now more competition in Redmi series. Plz bring some extraordinary SoC with 108 mp cam.

Since Redmi decided to place its logo on the chin of the phone, I've lost interested in it

Alex 94, 04 Mar 2020I am more for dimensity socs, cause they are more powerful than 765G.Hope you like being spied on, because there is no way to get around it with mediatek. While you have gappless roms and the micro g project with most qualcomm devices.

Pumpino, 04 Mar 2020The Pro has the SD720G, while the vanilla has the SD675.The Snapdragon 675 has an equivalent CPU performance with Snapdragon 730/730G. There's no way the Pro would got 720G.

Edit : My bad, i wasn't checked its specs, i just looked at the benchmarks. Apprently, the 675 got Kryo 460 Gold, 720G got Kryo 465 Gold, while 730G got 470 Gold, so it might be reasonable since Redmi Note Pro would be cheaper than K30 anyway.

However, i also don't think Dimensity series would gather on phone at this price range.

Looks like it's going to be a Snapdragon 720. A bit disappointing. Was hoping for a 765G for the Pro

I guess Redmi Note's odd generations are supposed to be the one that easy... moreSeems like that's the case, one generation is a slight upgrade or a step-stone if you will, depends on when you upgraded, but generally the odd generations were quite good. I own Redmi Note 5 and my brother has Redmi Note 7, and we are both surprised how good these phones turned out, despite their low price. I have had lower expectations regarding overall quality. My next one could very well be the 9th series, as I like to fiddle with root and flashing, so I don't particularly need a flagship chipset or camera, GCam mod is there to help.

I had a note 5 plus and note 7... Best premium mainstream phones when they where launched. These helped open my eyes to how good Chinese handsets are... Now look at Chinese handsets. Best in the world.
