Your "facts", never ever given here anyway, are pretty much just bias out of nowhere.
Better build is fact, better screen is fact, better sound features is fact, better connectivity is fact.
What is your "facts" you keep talking about?
Probable better batterylife on Xiaomi is the only one I can think of.
Better main and selfie A3 cameras? I could easily fact in better telephoto and wideangle 10mkII cams the same way, but I am not into opinions, since there are no camera compares yet.
So, accounting all above spec sheeted facts, of course Xperia 10 II is about 90 euro more expensive, and 90 euro more valuable than Xiaomi miA3 comparable 128/4 gb version.
And Xiaomi would certainly ask for same midrange price if it had those build/screen/sound/connectivity factual values added to mi A3.

If you test 1000 same devices one or more than one can fail.
Such as Galaxy fold for example.
Tested to last 100 000 folding but one can last much more and another can last maybe 20 000 folsings for example.
Noone of them will last exactly 100 000 folds.
Your answer si completely wrong and weird to me.

I always bring my phone when swimming, so having a phone that can do underwater video recording without the need for a crappy bulky case is super useful and a big win for me.

Is that actually how chinese phones marketing PR works?
No matter how many times I go and see specs compare list, all I can see is Xperia 10 II being better in many areas, and thus justifiably a bit more expensive.

A3 for much better price does lot more interesting tricks over Sony.
And i really dont think useless IPxx have any value at all.
Because no company would give you water damage waranty. So whether you ahve or dont have IPxx it doesnt matter at al.
